Welcome to the home of Trojan Skiing. Kelly Walsh High School has both Alpine and Nordic ski teams that compete throughout the Rocky Mountain Ragion. The Nordic and Alpine ski teams at Kelly Walsh have shown outstanding athletic tradition for many years. The Nordic team has consistently produced all state skiers, and the Alpine team has grown exponentially in recent years. This year we are looking forward to outstanding results from both teams, and great growth in the ability of all our skiers.

Congratulations to the Nordic team for there fine showing at the State meet in Jackson. There were 75 skiers competing in this years event in each boys and girls event. With the weather around 10 degrees, wind blowing and moose all over the trails the team showed great courage.The boys place 3rd. They were led by:
Logan Wiginton 8th Logan was named to the 1st team all state team
Ethan Atwood 9th Ethan was named to the 1st team all state team
Paul Ortega 19th
The girls team placed 4th. The were led by:
Bridget Weiner in 3rd Bridget was named to the 1st team all state team and was honored as the best female skier in the state
Cara Litke in 11th Cara was named to the 2nd team all state team
The following skiers qualified to compete over their spring break at the Junior National Nordic Ski Championships in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
