       The KWHS. Social Studies Department offers a wide variety of courses ranging from general level history to AP(advanced placement) courses that can be taken for college credit. In addition to these outstanding courses, the social studies department distinguishes itself by competing in regional history and civics competitions. Students from Kelly Walsh compete against others from around the region on their knowledge of history.

KW Students at State History Day

22 Kelly Walsh students qualified for the State History Day Competition. All students competed well at state. There were five students who were STATE CHAMPIONS and qualified for the National History Day Competition in June. These students were:
